We at Eagles Nest feel it is critical to give back to the communities that we serve. Each year we choose one or two large projects to work on, and regularly donate services or materials on a smaller scale as raffle or silent auction items for charity fundraising.
In recent years, Eagles Nest has performed construction work and hydroseeding at the Tarkiln Community Center. For the WWI Veterans Memorial in front of Town Hall, we built the patio and installed engraved bricks. We annually sponsor two children's sports teams, and rebuilt the dugouts for the baseball field.
Past volunteer projects have included: beach cleanup, restoration work on the Bluefish River Fire House, 4th of July town bonfire construction, turf and irrigation care on various local ballfields, landscaping for Habitat for Humanity and the donation and planting of ten trees at First Parish Church.
Emmett Sheehan serves on two town committees, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Cemetery Committee. Additionally, several other Eagles Nest employees serve on town committees and local volunteer boards.
