Here at Eagles Nest, we believe that giving back to the community we serve is important. Each year we choose one or two major projects to contribute materials and services to, represented by raffles, and silent auctions for charoites.
In recent years, Eagles Nest has completed construction work and hydroseeding at the Tarkiln Community Center.
We also installed a patio featuring engraved bricks for the WWI Veterans Memorial in front of Town Hall.
Eagles Nest partakes in volunteer projects including:
beach cleanup, restoration work on the Bluefish River Fire House, 4th of July town bonfire construction, turf and irrigation care on various local ballfields, landscaping for Habitat for Humanity and the donation and planting of ten trees at First Parish Church.
Emmett Sheehan serves on two town committees, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Cemetery Committee. Additionally, several other Eagles Nest employees serve on town committees and local volunteer boards.
